Hellenistic:
A movement from the Greeks, around the time of Alexander the Great. This art style was mostly of sculptures, of people. This movement was portrayed in a Greek style. The artists in this movement were the Greeks and the Hellenistic’s, around 400 to 300 BC. They were mostly sculptors, and sculpted people. The artist’s style is Greek, and sculpted to make it look realistic. The techniques apply to the movement, because the movement is about sculpting in a Greek style. The content is of a Ptolemaic queen. The artwork is sculpted in marble, and I believe this artwork really shows the Greek style of the Hellenistic movement (Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History).
